Brazilian club Flamengo won 2-0 against Egypt's Pyramids in Qatar and advanced to the final of the FIFA Club World Cup. In the final, the team from Rio de Janeiro will face the UEFA Champions League winner, Paris Saint-Germain.

The match took place at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in the city of Al Rayyan. Under the guidance of Filipe Luis, the Brazilian team dominated the game but could only score on the 24th minute of the first half.

The first goal was scored by defender Leo Pereira. Following a precise free kick from Uruguayan Giorgian de Arrascaeta, the ball found its way into the Egyptian penalty area. Pereira broke into the box alone and headed the ball past goalkeeper Ahmed El Shenawy to make it 1-0.

In the second half, on the 7th minute, defender Danilo doubled the score. Again, de Arrascaeta took a well-placed free kick, and Danilo rose above the defense to head the ball in, making it 2-0 after it bounced off the goalkeeper.
