
Doha and Damascus discussed a "comprehensive framework" for the restoration of Syria at the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Damascus at a conference in Paris for the coordination of assistance. During the negotiations, representatives of the two sides discussed issues of restoring infrastructure and housing fund in Syria after several years of armed conflict. They also discussed possible ways to attract investments for the recovery of the country's economy and ensuring stability in the region.
During the negotiations, it became known that Doha and Damascus stressed the need to create a sustainable mechanism for recovery that would include the provision of housing assistance and the restoration of infrastructure, as well as humanitarian aid to those affected by the war. In light of the conference in Paris, the sides expressed readiness to further cooperate and coordinate their efforts to provide necessary assistance and support for Syria in the process of recovery after the conflict.
During the meeting, the ministers underscored the importance of forming a common understanding of the paths for the country's recovery after the war, which should take into account important aspects such as the return of refugees, the restoration of the housing fund and infrastructure, as well as the reintegration into society of those who suffered during the conflicts.
