The QMED 2026 exhibition is one of the leading specialized events in the healthcare sector, providing a comprehensive platform that brings together elite entities and companies from the region and the world. It is expected to attract over a thousand doctors alongside wide participation from specialists. Khalifa Al-Mahni, the General Manager of Sogha for organizing exhibitions and conferences, confirmed that the new edition will witness the participation of prominent figures and leading names from various countries, which enhances the event's status as an interactive platform that brings together healthcare service providers, experts, and suppliers under one roof. He added that the achievements made in the healthcare sector over the past years were a driving force for organizing this edition, especially given the significant development the sector has witnessed, the expansion of medical infrastructure, and the increasing reliance on modern technologies. Marino Roberto Alzetta, the Secretary General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Incentive Partners for the Medical Supplies and Healthcare Exhibition in Italy and Luxembourg, expressed his appreciation for participating in this prominent medical event, stating that the partnership represents a bridge for cooperation between Europe and the region. He highlighted that the exhibition is garnering increasing attention from sector professionals due to the opportunity it provides to learn about the latest global innovations and trends in healthcare and to exchange insights on the future of medical services. Al-Mahni anticipated that specialized companies from more than 20 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey, China, Thailand, Malaysia, in addition to Gulf countries and several Asian nations, will participate in the event. He praised the exhibition's role in promoting scientific, technical, and cultural exchange, as well as opening new avenues for medical research and investment. The previous two editions of the exhibition were held under the patronage of the Ministry of Public Health, with the support of multiple entities, and saw the participation of about 50 of the leading local and international companies as official sponsors, including Hamad Medical Corporation and the Primary Health Care Corporation as strategic sponsors, in addition to a number of major medical institutions. The Ministry of Health continues to support initiatives that contribute to the development of the healthcare sector, and its patronage of the third edition of the 'QMED 2026' exhibition comes as part of its keenness to enhance communication with specialists in medical fields, which contributes to improving quality levels and strengthening integration between healthcare entities, in line with the National Health Strategy and Vision 2030. Participants, including agents, suppliers, and distributors, will showcase their latest products and technologies to a wide audience of healthcare service providers and specialists. The exhibition provides an ideal environment for exchanging experiences and building effective partnerships, which helps to enhance cooperation among sector professionals and to learn about the latest technical solutions and practices that support the development of healthcare services. The third edition of the Medical Supplies and Healthcare Exhibition 'QMED' will take place from May 6 to 8, 2026, under the patronage of the Ministry of Public Health, over an area of five thousand square meters at the Doha National Convention Center.
