Switzerland secured victories over Mexico and Ivory Coast, as well as a draw with South Korea. The Swiss team took the lead in the 15th minute through a goal by Nevill Schärer, and Ethan Brochinz added a second goal in the 39th minute. Switzerland's third goal was scored by Gill Steel in the 58th minute, while Egypt's sole goal was scored by Ans Rashid in the first minute of added time in the second half. In the Round of 16, the Swiss team will face the winner of the match between Ireland and Canada, also part of the Round of 32.
