Former international referee and refereeing expert Abdullah Al-Ajail stated that the Chinese referee Manning delivered a good performance in managing the match between the UAE and Kuwait teams, held on Tuesday as part of the Arab Cup in Doha. The match ended with a 3-1 victory for the UAE, securing their qualification to the quarter-finals. He noted that the referee's decisions were sound and did not negatively affect the course of the match.Al-Ajail explained in a comment to "Al-Ittihad" that the penalty awarded to the UAE team, which resulted in the first goal in the 16th minute, was a correct decision. He pointed out that the Kuwaiti player Sultan Al-Anzi fouled the UAE player Yahya Al-Ghassani inside the penalty area.The refereeing expert also emphasized the correctness of the referee's decision to send off the Kuwaiti player Sultan Al-Anzi in the 54th minute, explaining that the player committed unsportsmanlike conduct, which was confirmed by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR). Consequently, the decision was in line with the law.Al-Ajail also indicated that all four goals scored in the match (three by the UAE and one by Kuwait) were legitimate, confirming that the UAE team deserved the victory.
