Dembélé and Enrique Win The Best FIFA Awards in Doha

French PSG star Ousmane Dembélé has won The Best FIFA Men's Player award for 2025. The award was presented to him during a FIFA dinner event in Doha, Qatar, on Tuesday, attended by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, on the eve of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final between Paris Saint-Germain and Flamengo. Dembélé triumphed over fellow Frenchman Kylian Mbappé and Spanish prodigy Lamine Yamal of Real Madrid and Barcelona, who were also in the final three. This achievement comes after Dembélé was also named the Ballon d'Or winner by France Football magazine earlier this year, having helped PSG win the UEFA Champions League, Ligue 1, the French Super Cup, and the Coupe de France, in addition to reaching the FIFA Club World Cup final last summer. Paris Saint-Germain's manager, Luis Enrique, was also honored, taking home The Best FIFA Men's Coach award for 2025. Enrique was recognized for his outstanding work with the Parisian club, having led them to multiple trophies. He was chosen over Hansi Flick of Barcelona and Arne Slot of Liverpool, who were also in contention for the coaching award.
