The organizing committee of the 2025 Arab Cup, currently being held in Qatar, has appointed international Swedish referee Glenn Nyberg to officiate the final match between Morocco and Jordan, which takes place on Thursday (at 20:00 UAE time) at Lusail Stadium. Nyberg is considered one of the top referees on the international scene, having previously officiated numerous important matches in continental and international tournaments, as well as participating in major European competitions, which reflects the confidence of the Union in his refereeing abilities and extensive experience in managing decisive matches. The Jordanian national team reached the final by defeating Saudi Arabia 1-0 in the semi-final, while Morocco advanced to the big final by beating the UAE team 3-0.
