Last week, an agreement was signed between the Council regarding energy connection of the Persian Gulf and the Qatari Development Fund on the financing of the direct energy connection project.
According to the agreement, the Qatari Development Fund will allocate financing for the construction of a direct energy connection that will connect the member states of the Council for energy integration of the Persian Gulf. This project demonstrates the advantages of cooperation in the energy sector and its importance for the sustainability of the region.
"This project is a key element in strengthening the integration of the energy sector in the region and contributes to the expansion of joint projects for the benefit of all participants," said a representative of one of the signing parties.
