Norwegian company Norsk Hydro, a joint partner with Qatar Aluminium (Qamco) in Qatalum, has abandoned its plans to cease production operations at the aluminum plant. The company had previously considered stopping the facility's operations due to a dispute with the electricity supplier. This decision means the continuation of operations at one of the world's largest aluminum smelters.
