Qatar stated on Sunday regarding the firm refusal of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he announced that Qatar should stop playing both sides in its mediation for achieving a truce between Israel and Hamas.
"We categorically reject these statements, which bear an attempt to undermine Qatar's mediation system and weaken its role in ensuring stability for the Palestinian people," says an official statement from the Qatari government.
Reaffirming its position, Qatar emphasized that it will continue its role as a mediator in resolving the conflict between Israel and Palestine based on respect for international law and UN resolutions.
