Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said on Saturday that a ceasefire in Gaza would not be complete without a full Israeli withdrawal from the Strip. He stated that a sustainable peace requires full compliance with UN Security Council resolutions and implementation of the Arab Peace Initiative. Qatar continues to provide humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people and calls on the international community to do more to resolve the conflict. The prime minister also expressed hope that negotiations would lead to a long-term solution.
