The Ministry of Interior of Qatar announced that in line with its commitment to public safety and based on the continuous assessment of the situation by competent authorities, social events, including wedding parties and condolence gatherings, will be allowed in open spaces starting today. According to the Qatari News Agency, the ministry confirmed in a statement posted on 'X' the necessity of adhering to approved instructions and regulatory procedures, and coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure the safety of attendees and to hold these events in a safe and organized atmosphere. The Qatari Ministry of Interior also stressed the importance of complying with safety and security controls and procedures, and avoiding any practices that could expose individuals or society to danger.
