The Qatari Ministry of Interior announced that in line with its commitment to public safety and based on continuous assessments of the situation by competent authorities, social events, including wedding parties and condolence gatherings, will be allowed in open areas starting Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The ministry also stressed the importance of adhering to safety and security protocols and avoiding any practices that could endanger individuals. According to the Qatari News Agency, the ministry confirmed in a statement posted on platform X the need to comply with approved instructions and regulatory procedures, and to coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure the safety of attendees and to hold these events in a secure and organized environment.
