The beach soccer league under the International Football Federation announced a short list of the best players and coaches of 2024. After the voting is completed, the finalists will be announced. Among the 120 footballers in the list are Uailid El Mahmudi, Uailid Bashr, Ali Mukhamad, and Akhmed Bashr from the national beach soccer team, as well as goalkeeper of the Gambia national team Jamal. Among the 45 best coaches is also Brazilian Victor Vaskes, coach of the national team. Voting for coaches and team captains will be open until February 23, and the date and venue for the presentation of the best beach soccer players' awards for 2024 will be announced later.
