The FIA has confirmed the official schedules for the 2025 Formula 1 season, with significant modifications to some key dates and the inclusion of Argentine driver Franco Colapinto in the French team Alpine. Colapinto joined Alpine after leaving Williams, where he competed in nine Formula 1 Grands Prix and distinguished himself by scoring points by finishing eighth in Azerbaijan and tenth in the United States.

It is speculated that Colapinto will start the season as a reserve driver at Alpine, but he could take Jack Doohan's place if he does not meet expectations in the early races. Doohan's possible exit and Colapinto's entry could occur between the Miami Grand Prix or the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, between the sixth and seventh race, respectively.

One of the main changes in the schedules is the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which will now take place at 01:00 Argentine time on Sunday, at the same time as the qualifying session. Other key dates, such as Australia, China, Monaco, and Spain, will maintain their unified start time of 15:00 local time.

Night races in Saudi Arabia and Singapore will continue to start at 20:00 local time, while the Qatar Grand Prix will be moved to 19:00. Bahrain will start at 18:00, and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will close the season at 15:00.

Additionally, the FIA has confirmed the schedules for the sprint races, a format that will continue on several calendar dates. The sprint race in China will be at 11:00 on Saturday, Miami at 12:00, while Belgium, the United States, and Sao Paulo will have their sprint races at different times on Saturday.
