Argentine Alpine driver Franco Colapinto was eliminated in Qualifying 1 of the Qatar Grand Prix. After the authorities cancelled his first-lap time for running wide onto the kerb, the Pilar native finished last, from where he will start on Sunday in the main race. The race will take place at 13:00 local time at the Losail International Circuit. In addition to Colapinto, those who were eliminated were: Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda (Red Bull), French driver Esteban Ocon (Haas), British driver Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari), and Canadian driver Lance Stroll (Aston Martin).
