The head coach of the UAE national football team, Romanian specialist Olarion Cosmin, has confirmed the team's readiness for the opening match against Jordan today, as part of the first round of Group G at the Arabian Gulf Cup in Qatar. Cosmin noted that he is aware of the strength of the Jordanian team, which has made significant progress in recent years and managed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. He emphasized that the UAE team has prepared for the first match in the best possible way, both physically and mentally, despite the difficult circumstances the team has gone through. During the pre-match press conference, Cosmin stated: "All my players are ready for the match against Jordan, and I have great confidence in this group." He also added that sometimes the results may not reflect the effort made, especially when circumstances arise that are beyond control, saying: "We must accept these circumstances and work to overcome the hardships to continue building." Cosmin praised the work of the Jordanian national team's coach, saying: "I am happy to see the progress that the Jordanian team has made.
