The head coach of the Iraqi national team, Graham Arnold, praised the performance of his players against Algeria, despite the 0-2 loss. This match concluded the group stage of the Arab Cup, currently taking place in Qatar. Arnold emphasized that the players fought from the first minute, especially after Hussein Ali, an Iraqi player, was sent off in the first minute.
